POLICIES / TERMS OF SERVICE
Phone & Office Hours: We are available by phone/text Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday & Sunday are by appointment only. However, if we do not answer the phone, PLEASE leave a voicemail or send a text, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please reserve inquires during office hours.
Service reliability is extremely important. We request that you give us a minimum of 48 hours in advance IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR ANY REASON. Our business phone number is (757) 347-0338. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a $25 cancellation fee. We understand that circumstances arise that require a cancellation, but if you have excessive cancellations, we will reserve the right to cancelling ALL future cleanings.
We will make every effort to arrive to your home in a timely manner. However, we will always let you know if we are running late. We require access to your home; either a copy of your house key or a code to get in.
If we arrive to your home and forgot to leave the door open, leave a key, or we need to leave without cleaning for ANY reason, you WILL be charged for 50% of your housecleaning cost. Our employees are paid by the hour, and this fee is necessary to cover their cost. Most of our clients do entrust us with a key to their home, a responsibility we take very seriously.
We accept cash, checks, Venmo, PayPal (processing fee). Any returned check will result in a $30 service fee. Full payment is due the day of your cleaning.
We make every effort to take the greatest care while in your home, but accidents do happen. Identical replacement is always attempted. We request that all valuable, irreplaceable, collectible, or heirloom items be stored and/or not cleaned by our team. Damaged or broken items must be reported to The Little Maid within 48 hours of service.
The Little Maid uses high-quality, tested, and approved cleaning supplies, including a professional-strength vacuum cleaner with an extra-strong filter, to clean your home. However, if you own special products that you would like to have used on surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please contact us beforehand so that we can accommodate your request.
GIFT CERTIFICATES / GIFT CARDS
Gift certificates do not expire. Gift certificates may not be returned, is not redeemable for cash and no charge will be given, except where required by law. Gift certificates are issued by The Little Maid. If you are interested in a Gift Certificate, just give us a call, text, or email!
Your satisfaction is our number 1 priority; therefore, we guarantee on all our cleaning services. Any necessary adjustments must be reported to our office within 24 hours of the cleaning date for resolution by one of our cleaning staff members.
